December 14th, 2011 Well, we had our ultrasound and it turns out Logan is getting a baby sister! We can't wait to meet little Addison Claire, who is due on our anniversary, May 14th!
November 9th, 2011 It snowed on October 1st! Not much, but trust me... there was snow. We received 8 inches on the 29th, the day before Logan's 1st birthday party! His party went well. Everything was Halloween themed. Yesterday was election day as well. My mom won the election for Recorder of Deeds by almost 1,900 votes, or 10%. We are all very excited for her!
September 29th, 2011 We picked up Rozlin, our new agouti female, at the airport on the 25th! Shei s going to be a wonderful addition to our family and I cannot wait to see how she grows! I'm about 8 weeks along now, my first appointment is on the 14th of October, so I will know for sure then when I am due. Logan has been walking for about a week now, and he received his early birthday present too, a little Basset Hound puppy that my husband named "Ford". (This is why he is not allowed to name any of my Siberians! haha)
September 7th, 2011 Brendan & I received some very exciting news on Labor Day. We are expecting again, and Logan is going to be a big brother! The baby is due right around our 1 year anniversary! Won't be having a "date night" for our first anniversary... I might just be in the hospital! But it will still be a wonderful anniversary present! I'm in the middle of planning Logan's 1st birthday party as well. It's going to be Halloween themed, since his birthday is on November 2nd. Brendan told me I'm not allowed to dress up for it thought. Ha ha All of Sheba's puppies went to their new homes yesterday and today. Can't wait to see how they grow with their new owners! Fall kennel inspection has come and gone. At the moment we do not have any litters right now, but I should have one or two nice ones later this fall/winter. For more information on that, visit our Nursery page! We have placed a deposit on a gorgeous agouti female in California. I am very excited to meet her in the new few weeks, and come up with a name for her! Her photo is below! I'm sure she will make a wonderful addition to our breeding program!

August 21, 2011 Yesterday my big baby, Cena, left for his new pet home. Very sad to see him going, but I know he will have a wonderful home with Joe & his family. It has been an unseasonably cool august, but the Siberians aren't complaining about that one bit! Logan is almost 10 months old, so plans for his first birthday have started, which will be fun because he was born 2 days after Halloween, my favorite holiday. Lorri's campaign for Recorder of Deeds is going well. Can't wait until the election is over though and we all have time to relax again. =) Don't forget that you can visit this link to find books, treats, toys, and pretty much anything else for your new puppy! -Laura
July 29th, 2011 Well, I must say, I am getting tired of people saying they want a puppy and are sending a deposit, and it never showing up. And in that time I have held back the puppy and turned people away who actually WANT the puppy. If someone does change their mind, it is common courtesy to let me know that you no longer want to place a deposit on the puppy. So, from now on, even if someone says they are sending a deposit on a certain puppy, that puppy will still be marked as available and I will put people on a waiting list to see if the deposit arrives. If it hasn't arrived within 1 week, the next person in line will have the opportunity to purchase that puppy. -Laura
May 24th, 2011 Well, the "Our Family" page is done! Don't have a tab up for it yet, but you can view it by clicking the link above. -Laura
May 22nd, 2011 It's been a very busy week for us here. My Grandmother, Mildred Stutzman, lost her battle to cancer just hours before my wedding. She was surrounded by her family. It was very hard on all of us, but we knew she would want us to be happy and celebrate my wedding. She will be missed by all of us, she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her memorial service was this afternoon, I was amazed at how packed the church was. People were squished together in the pews and they even had to make additional seating in the back. I can only hope to be as loved by my family and friends as she was. As for my wedding, it was perfect. Can't wait to get pictures back from my photographer! Logan did a wonderful job at helping to walk his mommy down the isle and give me away. The reception was great as well! Logan took his walker and was out on the dance floor running all over the place! We left for our honeymoon on the 15th and got home on the 19th. Stayed in New Bern, North Carolina and had a wonderful time! Will have to get pictures posted eventually. I was able to visit Mojo too, as my brother lives in New Bern! Haven't seen him for a few years, and it was wonderful visiting him again! (It was nice to see my brother and his family too. Haha) We missed Logan so much, but he had fun staying with his grandparents while we were gone. Lorri (Lorraine Barron) won the primary election for Recorder Of Deeds here in Somerset. Now onto the fall election! Also, I would like to thank everyone who has sent both congratulatory e-mails on my wedding and condolence e-mails for my Grandmother. You all have no idea how wonderful it is to hear from each and every one of you! Thank you so much! -Laura Pyle
May 12th, 2011 Well, the kennel is officially closed today until May 21st. And I'm getting married in 2 days! Please keep in mind that phone calls will not be returned from the 13th - 21st, and it is very doubtful that e-mails will be returned either. I will get back to everyone as soon as possible, and I appreciate your understanding in this matter! Logan is 6 months old now. He had a doctor's appointment the other day and had grown 3 inches in 2 months! Everyone says he's going to be tall like Brendan, who is 6'4''. He's eating like a pig as well. I purchased the Baby Bullet, and have been making all his baby food for him. I think his favorite so far is pineapples. Lorri's campaign is almost over for this spring. The primary election is on May 17th, so we will see how she does then. She's running for Recorder of Deeds here in Somerset, and has been working in that office for 23 years. Tiffany & Paddington had a litter of gorgeous puppies today! We will be holding back all females until we choose which one will be staying here, as we will be retiring Paddington this summer/fall. Raisin & Cena have a litter due on the 20th. We finally decided on a name for our new baby foal! We decided to call her Puddle. She is doing very well, and is now 3 weeks old! She is going to be bay, and is already muscular like Delilah & Dynamite. Look for updates coming this summer! I will be uploading a page called Meet The Family, which will have a collection of pictures of Lorri, Dale, myself, Brendan, & Logan on it, so that you all can get to know us a little better! Can't wait to have Glessner Photography do some photos of Logan with some Siberians! His Easter Pictures came out so nicely! Well, that's all I have to write for now! Have to go do some last minute wedding things! You can also look for wedding pictures on my Meet The Family page, once it is uploaded and working!
April 27, 2011 Hello! It's been busy here this past month! We had kennel inspection on April 22nd, and passed once again, of course! Whisper gave birth to two gorgeous little females on April 25th. Yesterday was very exciting! My American Quarter Horse mare, Delilah, was due to foal in a few weeks. Turns out she decided she wasn't going to wait that long. I went down to feed the horses yesterday morning and saw a little head poking up out of the mud. Of course she had it in the muddiest spot in the pasture, with all our other horses. Dynamite, our stallion, was standing guard over the baby and keeping all the others away from her. We got her up into the barn and cleaned up, and both momma and baby are doing well now. Delilah has a beautiful little filly (girl). Now I just need to decide on a name for her!
March 26, 2011 Hello everyone! Things have been busy around here the past few months! Logan is almost 5 months old now, and doing wonderful. He has two teeth already, can say "Momma", and laughs at just about everything. He is a wonderful baby. He has already been introduced to some of our puppies... He loves his stuffed animals and the Siberians. He tries to squeeze them as hard as he can. Luckily, that isn't very hard right now. Haha. Lorri, my mom, is running for Recorder Of Deeds here in Somerset, so her schedule has been full. On top of all that, my wedding is coming up, so we are trying to get everything prepared for that too! We have a few gorgeous litters of puppies. Can't wait until Logan is old enough to go and actually play with them. He's going to have a blast! But for now he's content to watch them playing with each other. You will all have to be patient with me because of our schedules for the next few months. I know it will make picking up your puppies a little more difficult due to scheduling, but we are working on it. Please note that any puppy that is not picked up before May 11th will not be able to leave until the 21st. This is because my wedding is on May 14th, and we will be very busy with last minute preparations and decorating before that. The day after my wedding Brendan & I are leaving on our honeymoon. I also will not be able to return e-mails or phone calls during this time. We had tornados and hail the size of golf balls here in Somerset and the surrounding areas on Thursday. That was scary, but luckily we all made it through the storm ok. The weather is starting to get nicer, so the Siberians will all start blowing their coats soon. What fun! Must go for now, Logan is ready for his nap.
