Dixie is the mother of Dakota (Shorty in the Walt Disney movie Eight Below!) We bought Dixie from Snohomish Kennel in North Carolina. We drove down to get her in the fall of 2000. She is show quality and produces show quality puppies. Her most striking feature are her eyes. They aren't your normal blue eyes, they are ice blue... so light they are almost white. Dixie gets compliments on them all the time.
