Happy Holidays to you too!! Jules is
doing fantastic. Her and our german shepard (Cali) are inseparable.
Attached are a few pictures from the other day. She was well
behaved during the ride home - and house training her has been rather
easy - she is picking up everything pretty quickly. Hope all is well.
More pictures to follow later!!

Merry Christmas Lorri !
We couldn't be happier with Storm.
Storm is a very happy and inquisitive puppy and has made a remarkable
adjustment to our home.
You did a great job in socializing him.
Take care and enjoy the holiday season.

Here's Lauradales Sirlad of Shamstar.
Better known as Sirbad. A true escape artist from a chain link kennel,
he is now on a stake out. He's a growing puppy that wants to stay a
puppy. Runs like crazy, putting his tail between his legs when he does.
And he can hit some speeds we've never seen before! All he wants to do
is have fun, fun fun! He has a great personality and can belt out some
high notes whenever he feels like it!
Meet Lauradales Eight Below Mojo of Shamstar. He's a beaut and a
HANDFUL! He's extremely hyper. He's very playful with people but wants
to boss other males even Sirbad. He's 2 months younger than Sirbad but
he's bigger than him. I believe he was out of your Mojo's last litter.
Once you let him loose in the enclosure, it's a long time before you can
catch him!

Hi Lorri,
Aleksi did great w/the trip.
I had a bottle of water for him the minute they gave me his crate. He
drank
All of it, and then we went for a walk before the ride home, during
which he
fell asleep.
Once I got him home I walked and fed him, and he ate well. Then
He got his first bath and was dried and combed, as he had a small
accident
while in the carrier on the plane.
We went for a play session out in the back yard and on the porch, and
After his big adventure today he’s currently having a nap.
All in all, we’re doing along great, and he is adjusting well.
He is ABSOLUTELY beautiful, and both Judy and I are head-over-heels in
love
W/him.
Judy’s decided that I MUST go buy the video camera I’ve been wanting,
so soon I should have video to share.
THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH!

Jackson is doing great. He looks a lot like his father. He's the
sweetest boy I have ever had. Doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Even
when other dogs try to start a fight with him, he doesn't really get it
and thinks they're playing. He's still pretty petite but really solid.

Hope this finds you well! Love the fall in the air!
Zach and Tala have made the trip to AZ and are doing well! She's really grown,
sending photo's! Zach is currently staying with his Dad, which means Tala has a
couple Chesapeake Bay Retrievers to play with and is loving it! Word is since
she's been in the yard, jackrabbits, bunnies and grasshoppers have moved out!
It is amazing what a great personality she has!
Like the changes to your website!
Have a great fall and holiday season,

Hi Lorri,
I wanted to give you an update on the puppy- first off, I named him
Tikaani which is an Eskimo word for wolf. I thought he looked like a
little white wolf pup so it seemed to fit. When I first got him home
and started showing him around he was completely overwhelmed. He was
very quiet and when I took him out for a walk he would always stay
behind me, he wouldn't even walk through a door until I went through
first. Now after a week he's become a frisky curious puppy, he plays
with other dogs in the dog park and frolics around the apartment (he
just figured out how to jump on the sofa and bed yesterday, so now he
has that much more play area). He's also doing very well with his
crate training, when I come home he's resting very calmly in his
kennel and doesn't cry or yelp to get let out.
So basically, he's doing great and is a wonderful puppy. And of
course when I take him out we get stopped constantly by people who
comment on his good looks, although I don't think he realizes all the
compliments he's getting. Thanks for everything and I hope all is
going well with you and the family!

Hello Barron family
I just want to update you on Risky & Sassy. They are both doing well. I don't
know if you remember this ,but when I first was looking to get a puppy I had
said that I wanted to have them live & sleep in the house. Well I got them both
to sleep inside now. The one problem is they both like to get on my bed!! That
hardly leaves any room for me! Sometimes I have to get up & go sleep on the
couch so my husband has enough room! Risky can be convinced to sleep on his
blanket, but Sassy loves being on the bed. She also loves taking a nap on the
love seat, & of course she likes to have a bed pillow. She is not happy if Risky
gets up on the loveseat with her, she likes it to herself. I will try & get some
more pictures of them to you soon. They both have grown so much, Risky is over
50 lbs & Sassy is close to that.
Have a good day

Hello,
I just wanted to update you and send along some recent photos of Beaudi. He is
getting so big and he is such a beautiful dog. I love him so much. I have
recently been training Beaudi to do agility. Right now it is just for fun, but
if he gets really good at it I might see about competing. I am still learning
about the sport myself. I have attached some photos of him running through the
tunnel and chute. That is his favorite!!! He has also become the family
lifeguard. When we have the dogs out playing we always fill up their kiddie pool
and he stands guard. I have been able to divert his flower digging into digging
in the pool. This fall I am going to work on training him to pull in hopes that
he will eventually (when he gets a little bigger) be able to join our other dogs
in bikejoring and scootering.
Hope all is well!!!

Hi Lorri and Laura,
We cannot believe how much Steeler and Skye (littermates out of Cutie and
Sterling) have changed since we got them in April. Skye’s coat color and
markings have changed completely. Steeler has changed some but not as
dramatically as Skye.
Steeler and Skye are the talk of our neighborhood and beyond. A neighbor of
Pat’s father heard about them through someone in puppy class (He lives in
another county!). Everyone says they are so beautiful that we should show them.
Their puppy class instructor even offered to be Steeler’s show handler. They are
doing well in class and love going; Steeler loves to play with the other husky
in their class and Skye is the class clown.
We have enjoyed Steeler and Skye so much that we decided to take them on
vacation with us. They love the water and playing in their pool, so we going to
the beach. We know they are going to love it.
Have a great July 4th!

blocks without a tug of war!

Went to the vet yesterday, she was really, really good and way too cute! 14

Hello!
I just wanted to send new pictures of Cosmo & Wanda (liter mates from Mischief &
Sir Prize).
They are 5 months old now and still doing great. They graduated from Puppy Class
at Hickory Grove Kennels last week. They loved "ganging up" on Duke the Boxer
puppy who was over a month older than they were. They showed no fear.
The puppies are doing great and fitting in very well. The kids just love them
and they love the kids (or at least all the goodies the kids manage to give
them). I'm hoping I can get into the urban mushing thing with them. I think
Wanda will be an awesome puller. She's going to be the muscular one.
They are both beautiful in their own ways. Cosmo has recently acquired his black
coat. I'm wondering if it's permanent or just happened with him starting to
shed. He has lots of colors in his coat. The pictures don't do him justice.
Attached are pictures that I snapped tonight for you to see them. I'm sure you
will agree how beautiful they are.
Thanks!

Risky and Sassy are doing great here on the North Coast. They really like to go
for walks and do not like to be separated. They are very active and lovable.
They got their first professional bath yesterday. Sassy did great but Risky did
not like it when he could not see Sassy. They look gorgeous. We get a ton of
compliments when we take them for walks and everyone loves them. I hope you like
the pictures.

Hi Lorri, Laura, and Dale,
My name is Erin Lim and I bought a puppy from you all back in March. I have one
of Elizabeth and Toklat's puppies born on 1-27-08. His name is Max and he is
wonderful. He is loving all the fun and excitement in our busy home. He has fit
in very nicely. Max has 2 human brothers, Chase and Carter and a 5 yr old husky
brother, Soju. Max and Soju play constantly and wear each other out. I've
discovered it is much easier having a puppy when you have an older dog for it to
play with.
The time has flown by since we got Max back in March. Looking back at pictures
he was so little and young looking. Now is a lot bigger and more mature looking.
He doesn't look like a puppy anymore. Max was a really fuzzy red color, but
since he started shedding not long ago, his hair seems shorter and darker (like
brown). He takes after his mother and has a parti eye. He has one blue eye and
the other eye is mostly blue with a part of brown in it.
Thanks so much for selling Max to us. We love him so much and he seems very fond
of us as well! I'm attaching some new pictures of Max for you to see. I'm not
super knowledgeable about attaching pictures, so if you can't view them, please
email me back and I'll try again!
Fondly,
Erin and Max

Hello Lorri & Laura
Just wanted to say hi & let you know that Risky & Sassy are doing great! I can
not believe how much they have grown. We get stopped every time we are out with
them because everybody wants to look at them & pet them. Risky is the handsome
prince & Sassy is the beautiful princess. Sassy loves to give everyone kisses.
Risky not so much, my son can only get a kiss from him. We have got them to sit
pretty well, especially for a treat. They really look forward to their evening
walk, Sassy kept waiting by the door last night to go. We took them to the beach
a few times they both loved it. We had a few days when it was 90 plus degrees
which is extremely unusual for us here. I bought them a little pool to play in,
Risky wasn't to sure about it at first Sassy got right in. Now Risky likes to
play in his water bowl, he chases the water with his paws.
I will try & get you some pictures, I am not sure how to do it on the computer.
My son-in-law has a digital camera so we will try to figure it out.
Have a great day!

Hello! We got a male puppy from Jenna - Rae & Mojo's litter and we just wanted
to give you an update and let you know how he is doing. We named him Vader and
he is so smart! He learned how to sit, lay down, come and roll over by the end
of the first week. He is still learning how to stay, but he tries! The Vet said
she has never seen such an active husky before. He is so excited to meet knew
people all the time. Every time we take him somewhere people just fall in love
with him and cannot believe how smart he is. He loves the crushed ice from our
freezer and sits by the fridge waiting for it to come out. I have enclosed some
pictures of our adorable Vader, some playing with his hedge hog and some chasing
ice around the kitchen.

Hi Lorri & Laura,
Thought you might like to see a picture of Sirlad. I took this tonite in our
field when we were out for a walk. He loves the snow. It's hard to get a picture
of him holding still. He's a pretty active puppy! He loves toys! And he loves
going for walks. He puts the leash in his mouth like he's walking himself. Very
funny!
He's starting to get use to the routine here and doesn't howl as much as when he
first came here. The cats haven't quite accepted him yet but they're working on
it. I think it's because he raids their food dish! Ha!
Will talk to you soon! Karen

Hi there!
We (Skylar and Allison Sutton) bought a husky from you a year ago this weekend.
She was from the line of Saedi and Cringle. I am sure you always wonder how
those dogs are doing and I wanted to let you know that we are just so happy with
our husky, Tundra. We were just thinking about how we picked her up a year ago
and so we thought you would like to know how she is doing.
Tundra is definitely a husky. She loves, loves, loves winter!! We have a fenced
in backyard that she has taken over and can play and run forever! I (Allison)
run marathons so I take her running with me often. My husband, (Skylar) is
currently building her a dog house as well. She is a part of the family and
loves when people come over. She is very well behaved and fortunately an omega
in the pack. She is also on the smaller size and hasn't gotten much bigger than
40 lbs which is very nice. Thank you again for all you did and for helping us
add to our family.

Hi Lorri and everyone at Lauradale's!
Being a new year we wanted to send you some photos of Lupo (son of Mojo and
Cheyenne, born last March 25th....pronounced Loo-poe). We have just been having
a ball with him! You certainly were right with your prediction....what a
personality he has! He's absolutely hilarious and definitely keeps us on our
toes. Thank goodness we'd had a husky before and knew some great training
techniques. Haha!
He knew his name within 2 days, could sit and lie down by the end of the first
week and was house trained within 4-5 days!! He's great at listening and is so
lovable that all our friends and family just ogle over him. On that note, he
loves his twice-daily walks and exploring in the park...playing with his toys
and his friends, camping, hiking, running alongside as we bike...what an
athlete! We'd really love to get him harnessed to a scooter to really see him
mush! And despite what all the husky books told us, he LOVES to play fetch
(indoors or in a fence, of course).
Here are some photos we wanted to share from his last 8 months with us. You'll
see in one of them that he still has the little blue squeaky dog that you gave
him. It's absolutely amazing that it's the ONLY stuffed toy he hasn't
destroyed....coincidence? We think not. :-) He knows you gave it to him with
love.
Would you like us to bring him by next time we're in Somerset? We've talked
about it but didn't know if you encouraged visits like that. Just let us know
and we'll certainly understand, either way.
We also just wanted to say, thank you so much for such a wonderful little pup!!
He's added so much to our home.
Warm wishes,

Hi Lorri and Laura,
Thank you for showing us all the dogs on Sunday. We love our puppy! She was so
good on the way home. It took us until 2 am to get home. We hit white outs in PA
on roads were weren’t familiar with and then ice in the south. She just laid
curled up in my lap the whole time. We decided to call her Nishka. Our part
husky (Jenna) that is now 2 years old just loves her. I was worried about how
she would act. Our old husky that died was very territorial and introducing a
new animal was always a nightmare. Our Jenna is so kind with her and is taking
in a motherly role it is so adorable. Yesterday they fell asleep all curled up
together right in the yard. The puppy is asleep on the couch right now. She has
mastered that the couch is the most comfortable place.
My son is still thinking about a retired dog. He has a cow that is due to calf
in February and he is thinking he may use the calf money for a gray puppy in the
spring. I keep reminding him that we can get a big dog for free and it gives
them a good home. He is a thinker so I imagine he will take a few weeks to make
a decision. Thank you for the offer and if we do take a dog or another puppy I
promise it will get a great home here on our farm. If you should retire a gray
dog, please send me a notice and I will see if he is interested.
I must tell you that we think your dogs were the nicest kennel of dogs that we
have ever visited. They were all so friendly and well kept. Oh, and I must add
absolutely beautiful breeds!
Thanks again,
Krista Rahm
