Sequoia is the daughter of Appache and Lady. She is a half sister to Volcano and King. We actually retired Sequoia twice. The first time was in the winter of 2005. In November someone came and said they wanted her as a Christmas present for her kids. About 2 months later we saw her picture in a local shop window. It was an advertisement for the local Humane Society. We went and rescued her the next day. They said she had been there since before Christmas, which would have been about 3 weeks. Someone had dropped her off saying they found her. We picked her up and Sequoia found a new forever home with Janell Hosterman & her family.

Look at that beautiful girl! This was taken in the summer of 06, before Sequoia ran away.
