Star is the daughter of Chief and Ginger. She is the mother of Mojo. Star was retired to a lady who works in the Court House as a cleaner. While she had Star, she escaped twice. The 3rd time Star was picked up and put in the Humane Society. A man by the name of Stew Saylor had just lost his grey & white blue eyed female husky and when the Humane Society called he thought they had found his dog. He picked Star up but upon a vet examination found that she wasn't spayed where as his dog was. Thusly, he found that this dog he thought was his, wasn't.

When the movie Eight Below came out, we took Mojo & Sir Prize to the local theatre to "Meet & Greet" their fans. Stew was there and he talked to us out in the parking lot. This was the first time we'd met him. He gave us a poster with pictures of his dog he had lost, and the one he had found. We put it in the truck and went inside. After the meet & greet was over and we loaded the dogs into the truck, I was looking at the poster. I handed it to Laura and said "Who does that look like?" All she did was glance at it and she said "Mom, he has STAR!" We called him and told him. The next weekend, when we took Mojo & Sir Prize into the theatre again, Stew brought Star along. He was so excited that she was Mojo's mother and he decided to keep her.
